In our fast-paced lives, what works for one family may not work for another. That’s why we provide options for tailoring therapy delivery to your child’s needs and accommodating your family’s schedule.

For some families, individualised one-on-one attention is essential for their child, while others prefer the convenience of a therapist visiting their child at home, where they feel comfortable. Regardless of your unique situation, Brainfit Kids can provide a solution that suits you.

One-On-One In Clinic Visits

Initial Assessment

All new clients complete an initial assessment visit which is preferably conducted in person in the clinic, but if necessary, can be online. Please note, as much of Dr Michelle's assessment and understanding of your child is gained through observation and responses to instructions, face to face in clinic assessment is preferred. This enables Dr Michelle to gather the most accurate information regarding your child.

The initial assessment includes:

- Online pre-screening questionnaires,
- Comprehensive clinical assessment, and
- Follow up "review of findings" session.

Home Visits

Initial Assessment

Come to the clinic for the initial assessment. In special circumstances we can come to you or complete the assessment online, however face to face in person assessments are always preferred. Thereafter, your weekly subsequent visits are all conducted in the comfort of your own home. One of our trained home visit team will come out to you once or twice a week to continue your Brainfit Kids program of care as recommended by Dr Michelle.

Please note a travel fee will apply, in addition to the session fee, if you live outside a 10km radius of our Doncaster Brainfit Kids centre.  NDIS Funding Accepted: if you unsure whether your plan can be used, please check with your NDIS plan manager.

Remote/Online Program

Initial Assessment

For those who can't make in-person sessions or who are in remote areas, we offer a 12 week home based program with monthly 60-minute check in appointments via Zoom.

This includes initial screening and assessment followed by a program start, that may utilise the following:

- Interactive Metronome Home Program, and
- Safe and Sound Protocol
